Recruitment Overview

Application Period: January 28 (Wed) – February 20 (Fri), 2026

Eligibility: Individuals with an interest in kimchi and kimchi science & culture

Domestic (Korea): Open to both Korean nationals and foreign residents in Korea

Overseas: Foreign nationals, overseas Koreans, ethnic Koreans with foreign nationality, marriage immigrants, and others

Fields of Participation:
Communicator, Educator, Networker, Researcher (four tracks)

Program Duration: April 2026 – March 2028 (2 years)

Main Activities:

Creation of content related to kimchi and fermentation culture

Planning and participation in kimchi education programs

Global promotion and research activities

Benefits:

Official certificate of appointment and ambassador badge

Year-end awards

Activity support funding for outstanding participants
