The TOPIK test is conducted once a year in April. The specific test venues may vary, so it is essential to stay updated. Please refer to the "News & Notice" section of our homepage, which is regularly updated in January, for detailed information regarding test locations and schedules. 

The HKEC will provide you with the level test by Email if you request to take it.

We have Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 replacement tests.

If you make your level test score at least 70% and up out of 100%, you can confidently take the next upper level course.

If you take the level 1 replacement test and make 70%, then you can register for the level 2 course.

If you take the level 2 replacement test and make 70%, then you can register for the level 3 course.

The class fees for the Korean language course are structured as follows:

Level 1 class: $170.00 or $200.00 per semester. To register, please visit the homepage of the Asia Society of Texas Center.

Level 2 to Level 6 classes: $90.00 per semester.

Please keep in mind that these fees are subject to change without prior notice. 

Each semester of the Korean language course spans either 18 or 20 weeks, depending on the program. Classes are held on a weekly basis, with each session lasting either 2 or 3 hours.  

Level 1 Monday Class: In-person class @ the Asia Society of Texas Center

Level 1 Tuesday Class: In-person class @ the Asia Society of Texas Center

Level 2 Tuesday/Wednesday Class: In-person class @ the Houston Korean Education Center

Level 2 Thursday Class: In-person class @ the Houston Korean Education Center

Level 3 ~ Level 6: Online classes via Zoom

The Korean language course is available twice a year, with the following tentative schedules:

 - Spring semester typically commences in January.

 - Fall semester generally starts in July.
