Houston Korean Education Center
Participates in the 2026 Overseas Korean Education
Leaders Training Program
Director Inkyoung Yeo of the Houston Korean Education Center participated in
the 2026 Training Program for Overseas Korean Education Leaders and Korean
Education Center Directors, jointly hosted by the National Institute for International
Education (NIIED) and the Overseas Koreans Agency (OKA).
The program brought together Korean education leaders from around the world to
exchange ideas and explore strategies for the global expansion of K-Education and the advancement of Korean language education in local education systems. Director Yeo
shared best practices and field-based experiences while strengthening the
global network among overseas Korean education institutions.
Building on the knowledge and connections gained through this program,
the Houston Korean Education Center will continue to strengthen and
expand Korean language and cultural education throughout its five-state region:
Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
We look forward to your continued interest and support as
the Houston Korean Education Center takes another step forward
in advancing Korean education and cultural exchange.
