2022 Korean American Scholarship Fund Scholarship Selection Plan

<Selection Overview>

1. Number of people selected: about 16

2. Scholarship amount: $1,000 per person

3. Fields: domestic colleges and universities, graduate school for Korean students, college for foreign students in Korea, graduate school for foreign students in Korea, music, art, disabled students/adoption

4. Qualification

   - Applicants who are completing a regular degree course at a regular four-year university or graduate school as of the date of application

   - GPA 3.0 or higher from the previous year (Fall of 2021 + Spring semester of 2022) (Based on normal GPA of 4.0)

   - Those who are expected to receive a Korean scholarship while attending undergraduate or graduate school

<Important information>

1. Application deadline: 6.17.(Fri) 5pm (based on arrival at the Education Center)

2. Required documents: application form (prescribed form), transcript (original), recommendation letter (professor of affiliated school),

Essay (What did you learn from the COVID-19 pandemic and how will it affect your plans for the future),

Resume (attached if there is evidence), etc.

3. Submission: Houston Korean Education Center

4. Submission method: By mail or in person (BH: Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00) (E-mail not accepted)
