HKEC Director Featured as a Guest Speaker 

at the 2026 Summer Institute

Houston Korean Education Center (HKEC) Director Inkyoung Yeo was 

honored to serve as a guest speaker at the Asia Society Texas 2026 Summer Institute Professional Development Program.

During the session, 

“Hangul Calligraphy: Exploring Korean Culture Through 

Language and Art,” participants learned about the Korean writing system, 

Hangul, experienced traditional Korean calligraphy, 

and decorated fans with their names written in Korean.
