Greetings from the Office of International Affairs of Kyung Hee University, Global Campus!

Kyung Hee University is proud to promote the new Department of "Global Korean Studies" under the College of International Studies. The Department of Global Korean Studies aims to educate and train students to become regional experts on Korea and East Asia in the field of global cooperation and development. Students can choose maximum 2 out of 4 given selective courses which are divided into the following:

1. Business and Economics Track: Business Finance, Consumer Behavior, International Finance, Korean Economy and Development, Principles of Marketing, Statistics for Social Science, etc.

2. Art and Design Track: Commercial Music History, Cultural Topics in Korea, Fashion Conversation, Korean Cinema, Korean Cultural Heritage, Korean Media and Entertainment, etc.

3. Korean Language and Literature Track: Intermediate Korean 1 & 2, Advanced Korean 1 & 2, Korean Fiction and Movies, Korean Literature after 1900, Reading Korean Films, etc.

4. Politics and Society Track: Comparative Area Studies, East Asian International Relations, Korean Foreign Policy, Making International Law in Korea, North Korea and Inter-Korean Relations, etc.

Kyung Hee University seeks this as a great opportunity to study abroad for current students of your school to widen their knowledge of major business fields in Korea and East Asia. Most importantly, our university is currently offering a wide range of scholarships to all applicants applying to this Department. As all courses in this Department are taught in English, students with nationalities of countries that use English as their native language do not require any language-related proficiency certification in the application process. We believe that we could provide a diverse range of options for students of your school to become international leaders and broaden their future career in the East Asian region by applying to our university.
