HKEC Presents Funding Support 

for Korean Language Programs in U.S. Public Schools

The Houston Korean Education Center (HKEC) presented 

funding support from the Korean Ministry of Education to 

promote and strengthen Korean language programs 

in U.S. public schools.

The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Houston 

and the Director of HKEC expressed their sincere respect and 

gratitude to Korean War veterans and offered words of 

encouragement to the students.

They also highlighted the historical ties and 

longstanding friendship between Korea and 

the United States, emphasizing the importance of 

Korean language education and cultural exchange.
