On May 11th, 2022, during the week of World Cultural Events held at the Maud Mark Library in Katy, Houston Korean Education Center was invited and gave lectures to the participants on Korean language and Korean food.

Participants listened to lectures on scientific and easy-to-learn Hangeul, and had a fun time to write their names in Hangul, and enjoyed tasting delicious rice cakes such as various Korean rice cakes, injeolmi, wind rice cakes, and rainbow rice cakes, and sikhye, a traditional Korean drink.
