2026 Fall Semester
Korean Class Culture Nigtht
The Houston Korean Education Center held its Fall Semester "Korean Culture Night" at the Asia Society Texas Center, bringing together Korean language students for an evening of connection and tradition.
One of the evening's highlights was making Dongsimgyeol (동심결) — a traditional Korean knot whose name means "a knot that ties hearts together." Students explored both the artistry and the meaning behind this beautiful craft, discovering how a simple knot can symbolize lasting bonds and harmony.
A huge thank-you to our Asia Society Texas partners and all HKEC students for making it an unforgettable night!
