The Houston Korean Education Center, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education in Korea, is pleased to offer evening Korean Language classes for adults who would like to learn the Korean language at Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5.
We have first accepted students who are former students of Korean language at the Houston Korean Education Center.
New students may need to be put on a wait list.

▣ Period :
 - Level 1 Monday : July 15 - November 11, 2019 (18 weeks)  
 - Level 1 Wednesday : July 17 - Novebmer 13, 2019 (18 weeks)  
 - Level 2  Tuesday : July 16 - November 12, 2019 (18 weeks) --- Already full ---
 - Level 3 Thursday : July 18 - November 14, 2019 (18 weeks)  
 - Level 4 Friday : July 19 - November 15, 2019 (18 weeks)
 - Level 5 Saturday : July 20 - November 16, 2019 (18 weeks)

▣ Time : 7 – 9 p.m. (for Level 4 class: 6:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m, Level 5 class: 10:00 a.m - 01:00 p.m)

▣ Open registration : June 3, 2019 ~ June 30, 2019
 * 27 seats per class, Available on a first-come first-served basis

▣ Eligibility :   
  -18 years or older
  -Interested in and committed to learning Korean language and culture

▣ Fee:
  - Level 1~ 3: $50 per semester
  - Level 4, 5: $75 per semester
    ** fee must be paid on the first day of the class in cash.         
    ** Textbook ($59.00) and workbook ($20.00) are both required for the class and they must be bought on your own before the first day of class. Further information will be provided when registering for the class.

  - Level 1~ 3: Dynamic Korean 1 text book and work book
  - Level 4, 5: Dynamic Korean 2 text book and work book

▣ Decide level
If you are not a student from this program, you can estimate yourself which level you would be in based on the textbook Dynamic Korean 1, 2
  - If you didn't fully understand chapters on following, applied level would be your level.
    Dynamic Korean 1 chapter 1~4 : Level 1
    Dynamic Korean 1 chapter 5~8 : Level 2
    Dynamic Korean 1 chapter 9~12 : Level 3
    Dynamic Korean 2 chapter 1~6 : Level 4
    Dynamic Korean 2 chapter 7~12 : Level 5

If you still want to take a test to decide your level, please leave a note on the registration form so you can get a level test.
